Before the fun begins and the adventure gets underway, every traveler needs to complete the required registration forms. Get those checked off, and you'll be one step closer to your next Adventures Unbound experience!
ADVENTURE, INDEPENDENCE & SUPPORT
Travel can open the door to new experiences, friendships, confidence, and greater independence. For individuals with disabilities, however, traveling may also require additional planning and support.
Adventures Unbound creates opportunities for older teens and adults with disabilities to explore, connect, and experience new adventures in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
Our travelers are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion while receiving the individualized assistance they need to participate, have fun, and make the most of every experience.
Who We Serve
Adventures Unbound has experience supporting travelers with a variety of disabilities and support needs, including:
- Down syndrome
- Cerebral palsy
- Intellectual and developmental disabilities
- CHARGE syndrome
- Autism
- Visual impairments
We recognize that every traveler is unique. A diagnosis alone does not determine whether someone is a good fit for an Adventures Unbound trip. We consider each traveler's individual abilities, needs, interests, and level of support.
Support While Traveling
Depending on the traveler and the adventure, our team may provide assistance with:
- Personal care
- Activities of daily living
- Money management
- Medication administration
- Participation in activities and excursions
- General supervision and guidance
- Behavioral support
Our goal is to provide the appropriate level of assistance while encouraging travelers to be as independent, engaged, and involved as possible.
Traveler Requirements
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, Adventures Unbound travelers should generally:
- Be an older teen or adult
- Be able to follow simple instructions with appropriate support
- Be willing and able to participate appropriately in community settings with support
- Be medically stable for travel and planned activities
Additional information may be requested during registration so our team can determine whether a particular adventure can safely and appropriately meet the traveler's needs.

How to Register as a Traveler?
Step 1 : Traveler Registration Forms
Required Traveler Forms
Before participating in an Adventures Unbound trip, every traveler must complete the required registration forms. Using the links below, please complete:
- Traveler Information Form
- Consent to Give Care
- Medication Administration Record
Once completed, please email all forms to info@AdventuresUnboundTravel.com.
These forms only need to be completed once per calendar year. If you already have current forms on file for this year, you do not need to submit them again and may continue to the next step.
Step 2: Sign Up for a Trip(s)
Select Your Trip
Once you have submitted the required traveler forms, please visit the Trip Registration page and select the trip(s) you or your loved one would like to attend.
When registering, please choose the registration option that best meets the traveler's needs. If the traveler is unable to transfer from a wheelchair into a standard vehicle seat, please select the WHEELCHAIR USER traveler registration option.
Step 3: Submit Payment
Complete Your Payment
Follow the payment prompts to submit payment securely through PayPal, or select the option to pay by check.
Once payment has been received and your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation letter with your trip details.
